Where are your favorite places to eat in Athens?
Five Bar is my go-to restaurant when my parents come to town. Ted’s is the best with big groups of friends and birthdays. Athens Bagel Company over Ideal, there I said it. Taqueria Del Sol is a staple in my diet.
Favorite part of being a Chi O?
The people!! There has never been a day where the girls in Chi O have failed to amaze me. Every member of our chapter goes above and beyond to be a friend to all, and genuinely cares about getting to know someone no matter what pledge class they are in. I am constantly inspired by the drive and ambition that the girls in this chapter show everyday.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve received?
I know this is cheesy, but I was once told to “Be in the now”. As simple as it is, I will never forget that bit of advice as it encourages me to appreciate and live in the little moments of each day.
What’s your favorite place you’ve traveled to?
This summer I had the opportunity to travel abroad to Australia. Starting in Sydney and traveling up the coast of Queensland, I had most amazing experience. From scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef one day to skydiving over it the next, it was an unforgettable month and I encourage everyone to study abroad at least once.
If you could be anyone for a day who would you be?
Taylor Swift without a doubt.
Favorite thing so far about sophomore year?
My favorite thing about sophomore year has been living in the house. We are always up to something, whether it is watching the Bachelor in the chapter room or having an intense volleyball game on the front lawn. Living in the house has also allowed me to get closer with everyone in our pledge class.
Where can you typically be found on campus? Tate Starbucks! The baristas always have a smile on their face, and I typically run into people I might not see otherwise.
